Guest Motel- Zhongli Branch is highly regarded for its strategic location near a convenience store, critical thoroughfares and the Central University night market, making it a practical choice for travelers seeking affordability and convenience. Despite the challenge of finding dining options at night and its distance from the main town and airport, many guests find its location advantageous, especially those traveling by road.
Breakfast at the motel generally receives positive feedback with guests enjoying the variety and quality of both Chinese and Western dishes. Highlighted items like stir-fried sweet peas and pork lard mixed rice, along with the notable coffee, contribute to a satisfying morning meal. Although some guests mention limited options and occasional minor issues with food temperature and hygiene, the breakfast experience overall is well-received, offering good value for the price.
The rooms are praised for their spaciousness, comfort and functional layouts with extras such as large bathrooms and jacuzzis in some rooms adding a touch of luxury. Efficient air conditioning enhances the comfort of the stay. However, some criticisms include the age of the rooms and occasional unpleasant smells, but these are generally overshadowed by the positive aspects.
Cleanliness, however, is a significant concern for many guests with reports of mold, dead insects, smoke smells and insufficient cleaning. The breakfast area and bathrooms particularly suffer from cleanliness issues, impacting the overall experience. Despite this, a few guests highlight the quietness and economical rates, suggesting potential for improvement if cleaning standards are raised.
The staff shine brightly in the reviews, consistently receiving accolades for their friendliness, professionalism and attentive service. Both the front desk and housekeeping teams, including specific staff members, are noted for their courteous and helpful demeanor, greatly enhancing the guest experience through their dedication to good service.
The comfort of the beds is a mixed bag with many guests appreciating their large size, while others are disappointed by the use of two smaller beds pushed together, creating an uncomfortable gap. Issues with bed softness and stability, along with concerns about the cleanliness and age of the bedding, further complicate the sleeping experience, though some guests do find the beds adequate for a good night's sleep.
Overall, Guest Motel- Zhongli Branch is recommended for its advantageous location, good breakfast offerings, spacious rooms and exceptional staff service. However, attention to cleanliness and bed quality will be crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience.
