The facilities and services offered are superb, including the golf course and the peaceful atmosphere. The location is also fantastic, as it is quiet and safe yet a short drive to downtown Carmel. The staff is friendly and attentive and the text check in service is a nice touch. Although the food from the restaurant was disappointing, the resort's reputation remains intact. The only downside is the worn out pillows and carpets in some rooms, but overall the resort is clean and comfortable. Despite one reviewer feeling it was overpriced for their 4-person room, most guests had a great stay and found the resort exceptional or very good.
