The reviews of Bad Hotel Überlingen paint a mixed picture of its four-star rating. On the positive side, the hotel offers luxurious stays and facilities that are suitably impressive for a four-star superior level. Most of the amenities align well with the expected standard and the services are professional. The decor matches what one would anticipate from a four-star establishment.
However, several reviews highlight areas where the hotel falls short. Cleanliness standards and smaller, older rooms do not meet the typical expectations of a four-star hotel. There were specific concerns, such as chipped wine glasses and a lack of an elevator in the villa, which seem inappropriate for this rating. Some guests found the room rates high compared to similar hotels in Switzerland.
Dining experiences appear inconsistent with several guests disappointed by the restaurant’s offerings. Overall, despite some luxurious aspects and professional services, many feel that the hotel could better align its facilities and services with the expectations of a four-star establishment.
