Dodge Peak Lodge, nestled in the scenic Idaho countryside just south of Bonners Ferry, presents a charming escape for travelers seeking both convenience and a tranquil atmosphere. Although its location directly on the highway provides easy access, some temporary noise issues have been noted. However, the lodge's serene setting and friendly staff create a welcoming ambiance, further enhanced by spacious rooms and ample parking.
Guests consistently praise the delightful breakfast offerings, which, while primarily basic continental items, are appreciated for their setup and convenience. The on-site restaurant is a standout feature, offering an exceptional culinary experience. The chicken fried steak, in particular, garners high praise. Despite minor noise from the highway, the dining experience remains memorable and is complemented by convenient take-away options and room service for pet owners.
Rooms at Dodge Peak Lodge offer a cozy and comfortable environment, often highlighted for their spaciousness and charming decor. The cleanliness standards are exemplary, with guests repeatedly noting the spotless and well-maintained accommodations. The fresh bedding and absorbent towels add to the comfort level, making the lodge a delightful retreat that caters well to families and pet owners.
The staff's friendly and accommodating nature is a recurring theme in guest reviews, with many describing their interactions with the team as akin to being welcomed by old friends.
