The spa facilities at the Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour seem to divide opinion amongst guests. Some describe a lovely pool and spa with great atmosphere and great facilities, including the rena Spa, massage and sauna and steam rooms and a great added extra to the hotel. However, other guests found the spa area to be disappointing, outdated and rundown with issues including dirty pool, sauna and jacuzzi and spa showers with no hot water. Some guests described difficulties with noisy children and confusing separate facilities. Unfortunately for some, the spa also suffered from closures or issues such as the hot water stopping working, the jacuzzi being out of service and early closure, meaning some guests didn't get to use the spa facilities as expected. Despite this mixed feedback, some guests enjoyed treatments at the rena Spa and found the spa to be a great addition to their stay.
