Cinnamon Citadel Kandy maintains a commendable level of quality, evident in the excellent staff, food, rooms, and overall environment, despite being a bit aged and lacking in some expected amenities such as varied pillow options. The rooms are close to 5-star quality, providing guests with a comfortable setting. While some guests found the hotel reasonably priced, others mentioned that the service at the reception and lobby was not at par with other Cinnamon hotels, and had some issues like power trips. Nevertheless, the professionalism of the service staff and the excellent facilities make it a top-class hotel that successfully upholds its four-star rating.

Lakewood Residence presents itself as a four-star hotel, offering amenities and services that align with that designation. Guests have noted the provision of four-star amenities and received service that matched their expectations for this rating. For some visitors, it stood out as the best among several four-star hotels they visited in Sri Lanka.
However, feedback varies with some expressing disappointment and feeling that the quality did not entirely match the four-star standard advertised. Cleanliness appears to be a recurring issue, as noted in several reviews. This inconsistency in maintaining a four-star experience led some guests to feel the rating might be overrated or somewhat misleading. Despite these mixed reviews, the cost aligns with what is typically expected for a four-star establishment. Future travelers seeking a consistent four-star experience might wish to consider these aspects before booking.

Hotel Casamara - Center Point Kandy provides an experience that blends simplicity with practicality—a basic hotel strategically positioned in a convenient location near a shopping mall and a picturesque lake. Guests frequently highlight the accommodating service and tasty food, indicating a generally satisfying experience. While many find it to offer good value for money, exemplified by its clean facilities, some reviews do suggest that the hotel’s claim to a four-star rating might be overstated. Observations point to features more akin to two-star establishments, notably in areas like room service and the condition of the hotel, which could benefit from updates and renovations. Despite these points, the hotel compensates with a beautiful pool and attentive staff that some guests feel rivals that of higher-rated accommodations. Overall, while the star rating may be a matter of debate, Hotel Casamara - Center Point Kandy succeeds in providing a budget-friendly and centrally-located option for travelers.
