However, leaving your hired car or scooter in the village is recommended. Taxis may not be able to come down into the hotel grounds and guests with cars have to walk up a steep slope and steps to reach their vehicle. The hotel has parking facilities but is situated in a location not easily accessed by car. Some guests found the parking to be very dangerous and they suggest experienced drivers only attempt to park there. Although some guests found the access road steep, it did not pose a significant problem for most normal drivers. However, the parking fee of €30 to access the hotel's port shuttle service was considered expensive by some guests.
