If you're planning a trip to the Detroit area, consider staying at the Detroit Marriott Livonia. Many guests have praised the hotel's location, citing its convenience to both the airport and local attractions. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, the Marriott Livonia's location is sure to please.

Rooms

Detroit Marriott Livonia offers a comfortable and quiet stay with clean and good rooms, except for some that could use a little upgrading. Guests enjoyed the nice beds and pillows with soft sheets. The hotel provides a quiet place to sit outside with a patio off some rooms. Some guests, however, were not satisfied with their rooms due to cleanliness issues, paint peeling off the ceiling and walls, small stains on comforters and carpets in the halls. The overall look of the property was run down, old and outdated. There were also some mix-ups with room reservations, where guests reserved a king bed but received two doubles or received a smoking room despite asking for non-smoking. Despite some negatives, the staff acted quickly to address issues and ensure a clean, quiet and safe location for guests to stay.

If you're after a spotlessly clean hotel, you can't go wrong with the Detroit Marriott Livonia. The rooms are very clean and well set up with refreshing body liquid soap on hand. The property is kept clean and presentable with just a few isolated cases of uncleanliness reported. Unfortunately, some guests found their rooms not very clean and the sofa bed and pillows to be unclean or moldy. But overall, the hotel is doing a great job at keeping up with cleanliness standards. Just be careful in the hallways, as some guests have reported unpleasant smells and tripping hazards due to neglected carpeting. Additionally, some bathrooms did not meet expectations with uncleanliness and a lack of exhaust fan. However, even these instances did not compare to the far dirtier and more disgusting bathroom in the pool area.
