Historic HotelInitially built in 1892, this palace belonged to the Margherita family and is an original Italian 19th century palazzo. Located in the small town of Bernalda in Italy, the palazzo was soon purchased by Francis Coppola's grandfather who wanted to turn it into a luxury hotel so as to draw tourists in this beautiful area of Italy that also happened to be his hometown. It was turned into a boutique hotel in 2004 and has been charming its guests with its stylish and historic atmosphere and idyllic natural surroundings ever since.
