Relais Il Pozzeto is a wonderful and charming boutique hotel today, but its history goes as far back as in the 17th century, when it used to be a Franciscan convent. Due to its secluded and serene location amidst the lush greenery and nature of Tuscany, the building was ideal for a convent. Much later on, it was purchased by its current owners and was turned into the hotel that it is today, while managing to maintain its stone walls and medieval charm.

An old convent was also perched there, but none of its remains are left today. The area around the accommodation is also rife with history and culture, as many historic buildings and sites are still around.
