Hotel Rosalia is highly regarded for its superb location, just a mere five-minute walk from the beach, offering both free and private beach options. Its prime position near the seaside promenade and main shopping street allows easy access to breathtaking beach views, leisurely strolls and various shopping areas. The central location also ensures that key places like the railway station and city center are within walking distance, making it an ideal choice for travelers who value convenience and connectivity.
A standout feature of the hotel is its breakfast offerings, frequently praised for their variety and completeness. Guests appreciate the diverse selection and good value with many noting the reasonable cost of 7€ per person. While there are minor mentions of packaged croissants, the breakfast experience is largely described as fulfilling and affordable with the option to dine outside being a particular highlight for many guests.
The rooms at Hotel Rosalia receive mixed reviews but are generally considered spacious and clean, providing a comfortable environment. Visitors commend the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms and appreciate the beautifully maintained surroundings. However, improvements in room facilities and noise insulation are needed. Issues such as small and outdated rooms, insufficient space to hang items, few power outlets and malfunctioning fixtures have been mentioned. Additionally, the absence of air conditioning and poor noise insulation are noted drawbacks, along with the inconvenience of bathrooms and showers located outside the rooms.
Cleanliness in the hotel is a strong point with many guests lauding the spotless and impeccably clean rooms. Despite minor concerns about exterior maintenance and drying space, the general consensus is that Hotel Rosalia maintains a high standard of cleanliness.
The staff at Hotel Rosalia are consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. Guests highlight the warm and welcoming demeanor of both the owners and the staff, feeling well-accommodated from the moment they arrive. The team’s attentiveness, great advice and assistance contribute significantly to a positive guest experience. Notably, some staff members, including the owners, speak French, which is a plus for French-speaking visitors.
In summary, Hotel Rosalia offers an excellent location with convenient access to the beach and city center, a commendable breakfast experience, clean and spacious rooms and a welcoming staff dedicated to providing top-tier service. Improvements in room amenities and noise insulation would further enhance the overall guest experience.

The hotel's location is a significant highlight, often described as exceptional and highly convenient. It is centrally situated in a serene part of Bordighera, offering easy access to the beach, city center, historic district, shops and restaurants. When it comes to breakfast, guests generally find it to be a positive experience. The offerings are described as excellent, abundant and varied, served in a beautifully decorated dining room with soft background music. Although some guests felt the breakfast could benefit from more variety and better accommodation of dietary restrictions, it is often cited as a highlight of their stay.
Cleanliness is a consistent strong point with many reviews praising the immaculate condition of the rooms and common areas. Guests appreciate the high-quality bedding and recent renovations, which contribute to a stylish and comfortable environment. The staff at Hotel Regina Margherita receives frequent commendations for their friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness with particular mentions of exceptional service from both the reception and the owner, Diego.

Parking at the hotel is generally convenient with easy street parking and reserved spaces available. However, during busy periods, finding a spot can be challenging and some reservations have not been honored. Despite this, most guests find a nearby free parking spot without too much difficulty.
The bed comfort varies among guests with many finding the beds large and comfortable, while others feel the mattresses are too soft or have issues with the bed setup. Pillows also receive mixed reviews with some guests finding them too high and stiff.
Overall, Hotel Regina Margherita is highly recommended for its prime location, clean and comfortable environment, outstanding staff service and overall value.
