Langstone Quays Resort, Portsmouth prides itself as a family-friendly hotel, but some guests found their family room not cosy or comfortable. Some guests who were travelling with their 10-year-old son were disappointed that the sofa bed wasn't made up upon arrival. Although the hotel provides cots for babies, one guest had to bring their own due to the unavailability of the cot. Under 16s are not allowed in the gym, which might be disappointing for some active kids. The hotel can be a bit busy at times with children running up and down the corridor screaming. Unfortunately, one guest experienced unsatisfactory service as the kitchen served raw nuggets to their child. However, one guest appreciated the child-free period to use the hotel facilities.
