What is the history of the property?Originally a fortified farmhouse, over the years it became a factory for making silver and chalk. Later when a new factory was built at the bottom of the hill it housed the workers and later a family house and was surrounded by vineyards. In the 1970s there was a disease followed by a fire that destroyed most of the grapes. The house was then used converted to a casa rural/hotel (with quite a lively history). Currently it is ran as a bed and breakfast and restaurant.
What was the era and/or the architectural style in which the property was built?It was originally built as a fortified farmhouse. The animals would have lived on the ground floor while people inhabited the first floor. The house is built around an underground well system.
