Rheinhotel Schulz offers a mixed 4-star experience, garnering praise for exceptional service and a luxurious ambiance that many guests appreciated. The hotel's charm and better quality, compared to other establishments, are often noted, contributing to its consideration for a four-star rating. However, some aspects fall short of expectations with several reviews indicating that the breakfast quality is disappointingly basic and not up to a 4-star standard. Additionally, issues such as uncomfortably hot rooms, lack of bar staff on Sunday evenings and a general sentiment of decayed glory suggest areas for improvement. While some find it worthy of its rating, others argue it doesn't fully meet 4-star criteria with certain parts of the hotel appearing underwhelming for the price. Overall, Rheinhotel Schulz receives recognition for its grandeur and service but also faces criticism on several fronts that detract from a uniformly high-standard experience.
