Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Remington Orange is lauded for its prime location, especially convenient for those needing access to nearby healthcare facilities such as Orange Hospital, private hospital and Ramsay Surgical Centre. Its somewhat off-center placement grants a tranquil environment, appreciated for relaxation and accessibility. The property is maintained exceptionally well, providing amenities like an on-site restaurant, breakfast, WiFi and handy highway access, enhancing the overall stay. However, it is advisable to have a car for easier trips to the town’s shops and services.
The breakfast experience is highly praised for its extensive variety and inclusion in the room tariff, adding value to the stay. Guests enjoy the delicious and diverse options with particular appreciation for the gluten-free sections and overall organization. The breakfast staff receive compliments for their friendliness and service, though some guests suggest improvements in service efficiency and menu variety.
Dinner at the on-site restaurant, Whitney's, is frequently commended for high-quality, delicious meals, particularly the steak and fish. However, there are mentions of the restaurant being closed on certain nights and critiques about pricing and limited vegan options. Nonetheless, room service is appreciated for its promptness, despite occasional issues with menu variety and consistency.
The hotel's rooms are highlighted for their spaciousness, modern decor and impeccable cleanliness. Guests find the beds extremely comfortable, aiding in restful sleep. The luxurious and well-appointed rooms, coupled with a quiet atmosphere, contribute to an overall first-class experience, ensuring excellent value for money.
The staff at The Remington Orange consistently receive high praise for their friendliness, professionalism and willingness to assist. Exceptional service extends from reception to the restaurant with notable mentions of individual staff members enhancing guests’ experiences.
While the WiFi service receives mixed reviews, ranging from exceptional to occasionally unreliable, the gym is well-received for its cleanliness and quality equipment, available 24/7. Parking is another strong point with ample and accessible spaces, including free EV charging stations.
Families find The Remington Orange accommodating with friendly staff, spacious family rooms and a variety of activities for children. The location is particularly praised for families visiting nearby hospitals.
The comfort of the beds stands out as a major highlight with many guests describing them as incredibly comfortable, contributing to restful nights. The hotel’s amenities, cleanliness and room quality often lead guests to consider it a first-rate establishment with suggestions that it might even exceed its four-star rating.
Accessibility features are well thought out, making The Remington Orange a favorable option for guests with disabilities, though some improvements in WiFi stability could enhance the experience.
Lastly, the hotel exudes a luxury feel, offering a high-end experience at a reasonable price. Guests appreciate the combination of convenience, tranquility and excellent service, reinforcing the luxurious ambiance of this well-maintained property.
