Champlung Sari Hotel and Spa Ubud impresses beyond its three-star rating, offering decent value and amenities at a competitive price. This hotel is strategically located, providing guests easy access to the town center while ensuring a peaceful retreat. It boasts authentic architecture with nice, clean rooms featuring high roofs, adding a touch of Balinese charm to the stay. Although some areas need renovation—such as the aged concrete and musty bathrooms, typical issues for three-star hotels in Ubud—the ongoing refurbishments promise to enhance the overall experience. Guests highlight the hotel's two swimming pools and a commendable spa, enhancing relaxation during their stay.
While the hotel may appear older than the photos suggest, it remains a clean and comfortable option, exceeding standards for its price range. Thoughtful adjustments, like revitalizing indoor spaces for yoga or music, could elevate the atmosphere significantly. In its current state, though, the Champlung Sari Hotel provides a great stay with practicality at heart, making it a solid choice for travelers seeking affordability without compromising on essential comforts.
