The Royal Tulip Springhill Resort Jimbaran has garnered mixed reviews regarding its five-star rating with many guests feeling it falls short of true five-star standards. Common sentiments suggest that the hotel aligns more closely with a four-star or even three-star experience. Reviewers frequently mention that the facilities are dated and that the overall cleanliness and maintenance—particularly in the rooms, bathrooms and general hotel areas like the pool, elevator, hallways and driveway—are not up to the mark. Basic amenities such as sufficient towels were also cited as lacking. Consistency in service quality, particularly in the areas of food and pool care, was another letdown for travelers. The general consensus is that while the Royal Tulip Springhill Resort Jimbaran has potential, significant improvements are needed to meet the expectations associated with a five-star establishment.

Le Grande Bali Uluwatu presents a mixed bag for travelers. While the hotel enjoys excellent views and used to resonate with five-star luxury, recent reviews suggest it falls short of current five-star standards. The hotel is characterized as outdated with insufficient efforts to maintain its claimed prestige. Services and facilities fail to meet five-star expectations, drawing comments about their quality being far from five-star caliber. Though described by some as a good resort with a luxurious ambiance in the past, many find it overrated now and not matching the promising photos and descriptions provided. As such, visitors might want to moderate their expectations regarding the lavishness typically associated with a five-star stay.
