Excellent
Location
Located in the picturesque and peaceful countryside, The Baiting House offers a fantastic location for a small getaway or a weekend break to visit nearby family. With local country walks and open countryside space, this remote location is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet away from busy cities. The property is set in beautiful grounds and boasts lovely views, including from the hot tub. The Baiting House is also a great location for visiting Herefordshire and Worcestershire, being just 25 minutes outside of Worcester town centre. Excellent, superb and stunning are just a few of the words guests use to describe the location. Despite being a busy pub/restaurant in the evenings, the location is quiet and peaceful. Guests also appreciate the convenience of being near the great pub. Overall, The Baiting House is a perfect place to stay for those looking for a lovely location in a rural area.

Breakfast
The Baiting House is a charming place to stay if you're looking for a countryside retreat with an exceptional breakfast made of local produce. Guests consistently praise the quality of the food with many describing it as delicious, fantastic and superb. There are limited options for breakfast, but what is available is well-cooked and served by friendly staff. The pub at the hotel also offers great dinner and breakfast options with seasonal menus that use fresh ingredients. However, a few guests found the breakfast to be disappointing with some complaints about burnt toast and inedible bacon and black pudding. Vegetarians may also find it challenging as there is no meat alternative. Despite this, other guests had nothing but positive things to say about the quality of the food and friendly staff. Keep in mind that there were some issues with facilities not being available, but breakfast was included in the price for those who were able to enjoy it.

Dinner
Guest reviews of The Baiting House consistently rave about the exceptional quality and variety of the food served in the pub/restaurant. Many describe the meals as outstanding or superb with local produce cooked brilliantly and presented beautifully. Guests often use words like amazing, taste bursting and delicious to describe their dining experience. The restaurant is praised for its top rate dinner and excellent, al-a-carte meals. Many guests compliment the chef and say that their meal was one of the best they've had in a while. The only negative comments relate to portion sizes being small for the price or odd combinations on the menu and a few guests mentioned issues with alternative milk or noisy animals in the pub. Overall, The Baiting House is highly recommended for its fantastic food and high level of cooking skills.

Rooms are spacious with the necessary amenities such as coffee machines and fridges. The lodges are clean, remote and quiet, making it a lovely spot for a peaceful getaway. However, some guests noted that there were some issues with the lodges such as inaccurate descriptions of facilities, scuffs on the walls and issues with hot tubs. Overall, the accommodation was excellent with clean lodges and comfortable rooms.

Beds
The Baiting House is a very comfortable property with guests raving about the comfort of their beds. Reviews mention the addition of mattress toppers and better quality mattresses making for a really comfy bed. Guests also appreciated the modern decor and comfortable rooms. However, some reviewers did mention uncomfortable mattresses and sofa beds in some of the smaller rooms. Overall, the hotel has comfortable beds with just a few minor issues.

The lodges are particularly noted for being new, lovely and immaculate and offer everything guests need for a comfortable stay. Guests also rave about the cleanliness of the facilities, including the hot tubs, which are described as great and spotlessly clean (with the exception of one instance where the outer cover was found to be muddy). Overall, guests report that everywhere is clean and tidy and that the staff is friendly and attentive. Some minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance in individual rooms were reported, such as a toilet seat not attached and an overfull bin, but these were not widespread issues. For the most part, guests describe the cleanliness as exceptional with some calling it "100%".

Staff
The Baiting House boasts of an incredible and attentive staff, which has been praised by numerous guests. The staff is very kind, helpful, friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that all guests feel welcome and comfortable. The staff is professional and polite and they work tirelessly to make sure that everyone is happy. Even the aesthetics of the place and the dog-friendly policy are lauded by guests. In summary, a stay at The Baiting House promises an experience to remember, thanks in no small part to the enthusiastic and attentive staff.

Family
The Baiting House is a great place for a weekend break, especially if you're visiting family or attending a party nearby. The lodge is very convenient for those traveling with dogs and the staff is accommodating and friendly to both guests and their pets. Although there was a bit of confusion regarding pet fees, guests were overall happy with the hotel's pet-friendly policy. While there is not much off-leash walking available nearby, guests with well-behaved dogs appreciated being able to have them sleep in their rooms. Families enjoyed their stay, although some noted that bedding was only provided for two people. Overall, The Baiting House was a pleasant experience for both humans and their furry friends.

Rooms with Jacuzzi / Hot-Tub
The Baiting House is the perfect place to unwind and relax, especially with their amazing hot tubs and jacuzzis. Guests loved the private and secluded locations of the hot tubs, some even saying they spent the majority of their time in them. The temperature of the hot tubs was perfect and constantly clean throughout their stay. One guest even enjoyed their hot tub under the stars. Although there were a few concerns about the hot tub not being sheltered from rain and the chlorine being too strong, overall guests were impressed with the addition and found it to be a highlight of their stay.

Dog Friendly
The Baiting House is a brilliant dog-friendly hotel that welcomes furry friends with open arms. Guests are supplied with dog beds and bowls and the walk around the lodge grounds is great for dogs. The lodge is comfortable with a small kitchen area, perfect for a couple and their dog. Despite being labeled pet-friendly, some guests found the £15 fee a little misleading. Although some guests had issues with the noise from other dogs and the lack of dog poo bins, the hotel staff looked after guests and their dogs very well. Overall, The Baiting House is an excellent choice for anyone looking for dog-friendly accommodation.
