However, some guests were not thrilled with the five star rating, finding that the hotel lacked the expected lux feel and consistency. While others were pleasantly surprised by a lovely stay with a nice job on the spa and new jacuzzi. Additionally, there were criticisms about the breakfast not being cooked to order, poor coffee making facilities and food not being of five star quality. Some guests also felt that families with children were not particularly welcome, although there was praise for individual staff members, such as an exceptional receptionist. Nevertheless, for some guests, it wasn't quite what they had expected for a 5 star resort.
