Location
Guests at the Britannia Hotel Aberdeen praised its convenient location close to event venues such as P&J Live and hospitals like ARI. The hotel is within walking distance of P&J Live and only 10 minutes away from the airport with a bus stop right outside the front of the building making commuting around the city very easy. Although some guests struggled to find the location entrance, the facility is nice and staff is friendly. Some found the post code misleading and felt directions could be made clearer, but overall the location proved to be ideal for guests attending concerts and work courses with good transport links to the centre of Aberdeen.

Breakfast
Guests at the Britannia Hotel Aberdeen have mixed feelings about the breakfast available at the hotel. Some have praised the extensive breakfast buffet which includes several options and is excellent and very nice. Others, however, have had different experiences with undercooked bacon, cold food that was thrown on the plate or frozen fruit left out. The cereal choices have been criticized for being the worst some have ever seen and there has been a lack of muesli, cornflakes or croissants. Some guests have been willing to pay an additional fee for breakfast, while others have expressed disappointment at the poor quality and lack of value for money. However, those who enjoyed the breakfast appreciated the fair price and the decent selection. Unfortunately, others had trouble finding or accessing breakfast with no staff around to ask for help. Despite the mixed opinions, the hotel's evening meal has been praised for its food quality.

Dinner
Guests have mixed reviews about the dinner options at the Britannia Hotel Aberdeen. While some find the food to be outstanding and excellent, others feel that the buffet had no vegetarian or vegan options, no signage and lacked allergy information. Some reviewers note that the dinner menu was very limited and would appreciate more variety. On the other hand, some guests found the evening meals to be great and value for money and the menu looked varied and good value. However, there were some complaints about the drinks served at the bar with some reviewers claiming that they were overpriced, flat and even had boggies in the glass. Additionally, some guests noted that the restaurant was under construction during their stay, which might have affected the overall experience. Despite these mixed reviews, the restaurant appears to be popular with other guests and the food service and quality were appreciated by many.

Rooms
The Britannia Hotel Aberdeen offers reasonably priced rooms, some of which are quite large with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. While some guests found the rooms to be a bit dated and in need of refurbishment, others were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, well-provided rooms. Some reviewers encountered issues with broken or missing amenities, such as TV remotes and hair dryers and others reported noisy or uncomfortable beds. There were also some complaints about dirty or smelly rooms, as well as evidence of mould, damp or blood stains in a few cases. Despite these negatives, there were many positive comments about the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, particularly the beds, showers and towels. Some guests recommended bringing your own pillows, however, as the hotel's supply was said to be lacking. Overall, the rooms at the Britannia Hotel Aberdeen seem to offer a decent value for the price with some basic amenities and a convenient location, though upgrades and improvements would be welcomed by many guests.

Beds
The beds at Britannia Hotel Aberdeen have mixed reviews from guests. Some found them to be comfortable and clean, while others describe them as hard or uncomfortable with some even stating that they had the worst sleep ever. A few guests mentioned that the beds consisted of two single beds pushed together instead of a proper double bed. Some were disappointed by false advertising of a king size bed in an executive room. Others noted issues with the bedding, such as lacking thickness or missing a mattress protector. Some guests even found stains, crumbs and spider webs beneath the bed headboards. However, there were also positive mentions of comfortable pillows and sizeable beds that were suitable for a good night's sleep.

Cleanliness
The cleanliness of Britannia Hotel Aberdeen seems to be a mixed bag according to guest reviews. Some guests found the cleanliness to be top-notch, while others claimed it was the dirtiest hotel they had ever stayed at. Rooms ranged from clean and comfy with affordable prices to filthy rooms with stained carpets and suspicious stains on walls and carpet. Some issues included outdated decor, dirty glasses, desks and walls, skirting boards covered in dried drinks and food and even bags of rubbish left in hallways. Additionally, guests noted mould on windows and black marks on the window framing. However, some areas were clean, such as the reception area and toilets and some guests even reported a good night's sleep.

Staff
The staff at the Britannia Hotel Aberdeen have been described as both friendly and professional. Many guests have praised the helpfulness of the staff with some even mentioning specific individuals who went above and beyond to assist them. Wi-Fi
Guests have had mixed experiences with the wifi at Britannia Hotel Aberdeen. Some were disappointed to find that there was no free wifi in their rooms, despite it being advertised as such when booking. Others found that the internet didn't work at all or required paying extra for. Some guests were offered a code for one night of free wifi, while others had no details provided at all. One guest reported that the hotel intentionally blocked mobile signals to force guests to pay for their wifi network. Overall, it seems that wifi availability and cost at this hotel is inconsistent and something to keep in mind when booking.

Parking
Guests who've stayed at the Britannia Hotel Aberdeen have had mixed experiences with the hotel's parking facilities. Some have had a positive experience with lots of parking spaces available in the private car park and good, cost-effective parking options for leaving their car. Others have received a parking fine for £100 for parking in the hotel's lot and have expressed frustration at this.
