Historic HotelThe building where the hotel Konstantinoupolis is housed in was initially built in the beginning of the 19th century during the British Protectorate. In 1878, it opened for the first time as a hotel by a family from Istanbul (Konstantinoupoli in Greek), thus gaining its name. Since then, the hotel has been restored, all the while managing to retain the period style and characteristic architecture of the original.

It is a beautiful old building with great bones that offer a lot of history and great value. However, some guests believe that the hotel is falling apart and badly needs a renovation to preserve such a treasure. Nevertheless, Konstantinoupolis is a well-located hotel and nicely situated in Corfu Town, offering a historical ambiance and with many beautiful details from the period around 1900.
