While some guests found the rooms to be warm and with just an okay view, others enjoyed the comfortable bed and incredible room. The pillows and mattress for some were uncomfortable, but the bellboys and valet parking staff provided excellent service.

The hotel's prime location is definitely a plus with amazing views of the hemisphere. The staff portrays a good attitude and the porters and valet guys are always courteous. Check-in was sweetly handled by the young lady.

Though some guests found the hotel overpriced, most find it worth the money. While there were a few negative reviews, overall, the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk is a passable hotel that meets the expectations for a four-star hotel.
