The Red Roof Inn Knoxville North - Merchants Drive is frequently praised for its strategic location, offering easy access to nearby restaurants and the interstate, making it a convenient choice for travelers looking to explore the area. The friendly and accommodating staff further enhance guests' experiences, with many noting their welcoming demeanor and eagerness to assist.
However, reviews are mixed regarding other aspects of the stay. Bed comfort is another area with varied experiences. Some guests find the beds comfortable, while others describe them as too hard and not cozy enough, highlighting the variability in guest satisfaction.
Overall, while the Red Roof Inn Knoxville North - Merchants Drive provides a convenient location and generally positive interactions with staff, potential guests should be aware of variability in room maintenance and breakfast offerings, which may impact their stay experience.

Red Roof Inn & Suites Knoxville East generally offers a convenient location highly praised by guests for its accessibility and proximity to major interstates, restaurants, and gas stations. The hotel provides a quiet and serene atmosphere, allowing guests to connect with larger areas without the hassle of traffic noise. The friendly staff and fair pricing, combined with clean and well-maintained accommodations, contribute to a sensible choice for a comfortable stay.
While the hotel lacks a breakfast service, which has disappointed some visitors, guests can still enjoy fresh coffee during their visits. Rooms are spacious, often described as clean and updated, with functional amenities and comfortable beds, ensuring a restful experience for many. The hotel staff frequently receive accolades for their friendliness, making guests feel at home.
However, certain areas could use improvement. Hallways sometimes carry strong odors and occasional noise from the highway might affect light sleepers. Cleanliness in some guest rooms and bedding has been highlighted as inconsistent, with reports of roaches and debris, suggesting a need for enhanced cleaning protocols. Additionally, while many guests found the staff courteous and efficient, others cited instances of inattentiveness, pointing to occasional variability in service.
Finally, opinions about the beds are mixed. While some guests appreciated their comfort, others found them hard or lumpy, with pillows often described as thin. Overall, Red Roof Inn & Suites Knoxville East offers a generally pleasant stay, with the main draws being its prime location and accommodating staff, despite a few areas in need of attention.
