The hotel's location in the middle of nowhere provides peace and quiet. While some guests found the hotel's first impressions poor or average, most found the hotel exceptional or very good with lovely rooms and a fine building. The hotel offers good accommodation for work trips and some patrons said they would stay again on their drives home. Some guests did not recommend the hotel, stating that it was not a four-star facility and that it was let down by essential things despite being inexpensive. However, the majority of guests who stayed at Northampton's Heart of England by Marston's Inns found the property a great value and would recommend booking again.
