The Old Palace Lodge is a palatial and beautiful property with comfortable and clean rooms. The deluxe rooms are excellent, spacious and equipped with good facilities. However, some of the rooms can be a bit dated and in need of updating with outdated furniture and decor. Despite some issues such as stained sheets, dirty rooms and poor lighting, the rooms for the most part are clean and tidy. The beds are very comfortable and some even have extra-large or honeymoon-sized beds. Rooms can also vary in size with some being quite spacious and others feeling a bit small. The bathrooms could also use some updating, but are generally adequate. Some guests have reported issues with noise, either from neighboring rooms or from weddings and other events taking place at the hotel. Despite these drawbacks, guests have been generally pleased with the comfort and convenience of the rooms, as well as the cleanliness and spaciousness of some of the recently refurbished rooms.
