The pool at Gran Hotel Los Angeles frequently garnered mixed feedback although it has its merits. Many guests noted the pool as a lovely, well-maintained feature, appreciating its cleanliness and suitability for a refreshing swim. Families found the pool child-friendly, equipped with lounge chairs and umbrellas and it was deemed a great spot to combat the Madrid heat. The size also impressed some, describing it as large and accommodating.
However, the pool's availability was a recurring issue. It often remained closed outside the peak summer months, much to the disappointment of guests arriving before mid-June or after mid-September. Maintenance seemed inconsistent with some visitors encountering dirty water, neglected areas and wasp infestations. The operational hours were also limited, which occasionally frustrated guests.
Overall, while the pool at Gran Hotel Los Angeles has the potential for a great experience, its inconsistent maintenance and limited availability can affect guests' enjoyment.

Bungalows Alpha features a swimming pool that receives a mix of feedback from its guests. The pool, described as spacious and fairly large, is often highlighted as a major attraction for visitors. Many guests appreciate its clear, clean water and the general upkeep of the pool area, noting it as a splendid and fantastic spot to relax and play music by. The daily cleaning efforts seem to contribute to its well-maintained appearance.
However, the pool area is not without issues. Some reviewers mention structural problems, such as half-broken stairs and a slippery tile that can be dangerous, while others point out that the pool has been closed without prior notice, leading to dissatisfaction. There are also mentions of overcrowding, particularly with non-guests having access and various cleanliness concerns, including too much disinfectant and occasional dirtiness.
Additional facilities around the pool are limited; there are no hammocks and the lawn area is insufficient. Safety measures seem to be a concern with children peeing in the bushes and full of drunk people, which might make it less appealing for family visits.
Despite these criticisms, the pool remains a highlight for many, particularly when it's operational and uncrowded. The combination of a large size and clean water makes it a promising feature of Bungalows Alpha, especially appreciated by those looking for a relaxing swim or a place to unwind under the sun.
