The Waters of Minocqua offers a good value for a small family trip. With a welcoming lobby and nice 2nd-floor rooms that have sliding doors, the hotel provides a very good experience for guests. While some reviewers noted minor issues and the need for updates, overall, guests found the hotel to be exceptional, superb and very good. There were a few guests who felt the hotel was just okay or passable and one guest thought it was no more than a 2-star venue. However, the majority of guests found The Waters of Minocqua to be a good place to stay for a couple of days or even longer and believe that modernization could make this already great hotel even greater.
