The pools are well-maintained and range from kid-friendly to heated pools with the choice of pools being a hit amongst visitors. Although the pool area closes a little early, it's relaxing during the day and features umbrellas and beach chairs for guests to lounge in. The private beach area is a highlight and insiders know to watch their timing so they can fully enjoy the pools and bars since they tend to close up earlier than expected. An outdoor bar/restaurant has yet to open, but the excellent atmosphere more than makes up for it. Bathers can take a dip in the heated pool that isn't quite as warm as they expected, but you'll love the outside pool areas that are great for lounging. Just note that it gets very dark at night and one guest commented on loud music. Nevertheless, the pool area is fantastic, the bat tenders are fantastic and friendly and the beach and pool are well maintained.

Although the hot tub is small, the pool itself is one of the best features of the resort when compared to other hotels in Hilton Head. And for those who prefer the beach, the hotel grants easy access to both. Guests can switch between the pool and the ocean whenever they please. While some found the pool area to be nice and enjoyable, others thought it was too small for the number of people staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, some guests were disappointed to see lounge chairs being reserved around the pool as early as 7am despite the resort's no-reservation policy. Furthermore, there were reports of no lifeguards on duty and some guests had concerns about long swimming hours even when the pool was supposed to be closed at dusk. The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor pools. Overall, however, the pool and the beach were highly recommended by guests, especially due to the location and service.

The pools are open until 10pm, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the water. Visitors rave about the cleanliness of the pools and how it was easy to get hold of pool towels. The limited chairs by the pool didn't pose too much of a problem and staff sanitized the area throughout the day. There is an outdoor heated pool available for those cooler days. The pools, along with easy beach access, are a highlight of the resort. Unfortunately, some visitors were not able to fully enjoy the pools due to COVID-19 restrictions.
