Some guests found it difficult to locate the 7th floor pool area at first, but once they did, they loved the amenities available. The pool bar was a hit for those visiting Wed-Sat until 5pm. The pools and hot tubs facilities were generally excellent, although some guests found certain areas to be less clean than others. Nevertheless, the overall consensus was that the multiple pools and hot tubs allowed guests to try out different options and enjoy pool time with a beach view. Of note, some guests had issues with glass bottles at the pool and the indoor pool was noted to be not as nice as other options. However, guests raved about the cookies served by the pool and the variety of pool options available at Grande Shores.

Families with children can take advantage of the children's pool, while those seeking relaxation will love the heated pool and lazy river. The scenery is great and the hotel is ocean front with steps to the beach. There's no excuse to miss the pool area since access is convenient, but unfortunately, the pool lacks handicapped access. Despite this, the pools are all clean, inviting and not too crowded, making for a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The only complaint guests had was that the pools could have been a tiny bit bigger, but overall, the pools were ranked as the best feature of the hotel.

They also have an indoor pool that was closed during our stay. The pool area was well-maintained and clean with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. The Tiki bar near the pool is a great touch and we loved the cornhole games available for entertainment. It's unfortunate that the outdoor pool was closed during part of our stay, but the pool guy was very responsible and checked chemical levels and cleaned every morning. The hot tubs could have been warmer, but they were nice nonetheless. Despite some minor issues with the pool crew and occasional loud music, the pool area was excellent and the beach access was convenient. Overall, the resort offers great amenities, including multiple outdoor and indoor swimming pools, hot tubs and a children's pool, making it an ideal location for a family vacation.
