Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Garden Village Resort in Moalboal offers a tranquil escape from the bustling town center, providing a serene environment perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat. Its slightly remote location adds to the resort's charm, although transportation via motorbike or tricycle is essential for exploring nearby attractions. Guests appreciate the resort's convenient position between the beach and the town center, balancing relaxation with occasional excursions.
The breakfast experience is largely positive with guests praising the generous portions, delicious food and unique offerings like seafood. However, some found the pricing on the higher side and suggested menu improvements. Dinner at the resort is widely enjoyed with the fresh and well-prepared dishes receiving high marks. The convenience of the on-site restaurant and bar is a significant plus, although some guests noted the limited menu and higher prices compared to local options.
Rooms are generally maintained well, offering clean, spacious and comfortable accommodations with essential amenities such as air conditioning, WiFi and mini-fridges. While some rooms felt cramped to a few guests, larger accommodations like bungalows and apartments were highly appreciated. Cleanliness is a consistent strength, though occasional issues with cleaning frequency and thoroughness were noted.
The staff at Garden Village Resort are frequently commended for their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism, significantly enhancing the overall guest experience. Although there are rare mentions of disinterested staff, the majority of reviews highlight the exceptional service provided by the team.
WiFi at the resort has mixed reviews with some guests enjoying fast and stable connections, particularly in common areas, while others faced challenges with slow and intermittent signals, especially in the rooms.
The pool is a standout feature, described as clean, beautiful and spacious, providing a relaxing environment for a swim or dip. Nighttime tranquility around the pool area adds to its appeal, although more frequent cleaning was occasionally suggested.
Parking is convenient, secure and free with ample shaded spaces available. Motorbike riders also find the parking situation particularly accommodating. Despite the narrow access road, guests feel their vehicles are safe and parking is easy to navigate.
For families, the resort offers a supportive and enjoyable environment with dedicated family rooms, ample play space for children and a peaceful ambiance. The family-friendly facilities and great value for money make it a popular choice for family vacations.
The beds, although receiving some criticisms regarding size and comfort, are mostly praised for being comfortable, clean and enhancing the overall restful experience.
In summary, Garden Village Resort is a three-star hotel offering good value for money, balancing affordability with quality. The resort's serene environment, welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms and family-friendly amenities make it a highly recommended destination for travelers seeking a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
