Additionally, there were complaints about the lack of customer service for a four-star hotel, overpriced rates and lack of atmosphere inside which felt freezing. Some guests felt that the hotel is not up to four-star standards, as the executive accommodation was not really executive standard. Many guests felt that the Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa fell short of their expectations and needed to improve to be classified as a four-star hotel.
