La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Marcos features a well-located swimming pool that unfortunately has received mixed reviews from its guests. Some reviews mention that the pool is situated conveniently right outside guest rooms, which is ideal for easy access. Additionally, the hotel is commended for having a pool in a good location within the property.
However, many guests have noted significant issues with the pool's cleanliness and maintenance. Feedback includes reports of the pool being green, cloudy or outright dirty, which made it unswimmable for several visitors. There are also mentions of the pool being closed or out of service during their stay, even in peak summer months. Guests express disappointment about these conditions, as a well-maintained pool is an important amenity for many travelers.
While there are a few positive mentions about the pool, the overall sentiment suggests that La Quinta Inn could improve the upkeep and functionality of its swimming area to provide a better experience for future guests.
