Best Western Premier Airporthotel Fontane BERlin is recognized for its strategic location, just 20 minutes by car from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). It is ideal for travelers with vehicles, owing to its excellent highway access, though it might be less convenient for those relying on public transport due to its somewhat isolated setting. Guests frequently commend the hotel for its extensive and diverse breakfast spread, which is described as delicious and abundant. The quality of the breakfast justifies its price and the friendly staff contribute to a pleasant start to the day. Dinner, although receiving mixed feedback, generally garners praise for the quality of food and friendly service, particularly when the restaurant is operational.
The rooms are frequently highlighted for their spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort. They offer ample space, large bathrooms and comfortable beds, making them suitable for both leisure and business travelers. Parking options are varied with free spaces available around the hotel and a paid underground garage. Guests appreciate the availability but note that free parking can be limited, making the paid option a convenient, though sometimes costly, alternative. The addition of a charging option for electric vehicles is noted, albeit limited.
For families, the hotel offers accommodating options with family rooms and perks like children staying for free up to a certain age. Though there are no extra beds provided and room configurations may require planning, the hotel generally caters well to short family stays.
Beds at the hotel receive positive feedback for comfort, though there are occasional notes on firmness and outdated mattresses. Business travelers find the hotel highly suitable, appreciating its location, services and price-performance ratio, making it a favored choice for both short and extended stays.
