The pools are clean and accessible and some offer both sunbeds in the shade and in the sun. Guests can also enjoy the pool bar or lounge on the mini beach with loungers. Despite some instances where other guests may be rowdy or loud, the resort has different pools so it was never overcrowded. Additionally, the Caribbean architecture and great local entertainment add to the ambiance of the pool area. Families with children will appreciate that the pools are child-friendly, although some would like a bit more shade available around the swimming pools. The resort also offers a walk-in/beach-like pool, but guests beware of extremely cold water in some of the pools. While one guest notes algae growth on the pool wall, it seems that overall the pools are well-maintained. Show more

Guests raved about the two swimming pools, particularly the one near the beach which was described as amazing and fun for all ages. However, some guests noted that there were issues with the pools - two out of three were partially filled due to a leak and the massive pool seemed to have an unresolved leak and looked stagnant in places. Despite this, the resort was working hard to fix the issue. One pool was closed for the guests' last four days and the lap pool wasn't open until the last day of one guest's stay. There were also some complaints about the cleanliness of the pool with a bar in it.
On a positive note, one of the pools was mentioned for its unique Caribbean/tropic environment and waterfalls at both ends, capturing the essence of the surroundings. Some guests noted that the sun beds had to be lifted over a fence to put them on the beach, which was heavy and awkward to lift, but this was a minor issue. The main complaint about the pools was that there were no pool towels available for five days and the pool service was rarely available.
Overall, the large grounds and the excellent swimming pools, even though needing resurfacing and retiling, were great for guests to relax within the beautiful park-like resort. The prime location on the beautiful Grand Anse beach was also a significant draw for guests. While some work needs to be done to improve the pool experience, the beach and pool areas were generally considered as exceptional amenities at the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort. Show more
