The dinner is delicious and abundant with homemade and fresh dishes served by the warm and attentive hospitality of the Sandtfoss family. The staff is outstandingly friendly, accommodating, communicative and caring towards their guests. The rooms are simple and no-frills with some guests finding them outdated and in need of refurbishment, but others were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and size of the accommodations. The communal showers were reportedly clean, but some found them to be cramped, while others noted that the shared bathroom facilities could be inconvenient during peak hours. The biggest issue seems to be the shared bathroom and lack of hygiene, especially during the current pandemic. The beds are the only drawback with several guests finding them uncomfortable and in need of replacement. Despite this issue, guests have been happy with the surrounding amenities such as the breakfast and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Overall, Gaststätte und Pension Skiklause is a fantastic choice for anyone who values fantastic food, warm staff and great service.
