The Sandman Signature Vancouver Downtown Hotel offers a varied experience when it comes to its pool amenities. Guests generally found the pool to be a valuable addition, describing it as nice, well-needed and even phenomenal, particularly praising the new pool and spa. Families were pleased with the child-friendly environment, noting that kids especially loved the pool. The hot tub and indoor pool, highlighted with large windows, were often mentioned as nice features, though some guests reported issues with the jets and the area being occasionally dirty or in need of more seating.
However, several guests encountered significant inconveniences due to ongoing renovations, which frequently led to the pool's closure, much to their disappointment. When open, the conditions of the pool varied with some guests finding it very clean and heated to a lovely temperature, while others noted problems such as rusting and dirty floors. The absence of a lifeguard and the need for more sun loungers were also pointed out.
Overall, when operational, the pool facility is praised and considered a highlight of the stay, but the inconsistency due to renovations has been a notable downside for some visitors.

Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel offers a variety of amenities with the pool area being a notable feature for many guests. Visitors appreciate the convenience of the indoor swimming pool, accompanied by a hot tub, sauna and steam room, accessible until 10pm. Families particularly enjoy the pool, finding it a highlight of their stay and ideal for children. Guests frequently mention the well-maintained condition of the pool and spa areas, contributing positively to their overall experience.
However, reviews reveal some mixed feelings about the pool. While several guests found the pool to be nice and clean, others noted it was too small, shallow and occasionally crowded. Additionally, the temperature was a consistent concern with many describing the pool as cold and not heated. The limited privacy due to its location near the lobby and visible to cars also detracted from the enjoyment for some.
Despite these drawbacks, the pool area generally receives favorable remarks for its contributions to a relaxing and enjoyable stay, making it a valued facility for those visiting the hotel.
