The Hotel Victoria is a charming and characterful historic hotel that has been well refurbished, retaining its old world charm and Victorian interior. The grand building harks back to the Victorian age and has many original features that make you feel like you're in Downton Abbey. The old English style is elegant and the hotel is full of nostalgia with old pictures of Newquay adorning the walls. Although the hotel may be in need of repairs and extensive renovation, it still maintains its character and dignity. The location is perfect and the price is friendly for a clean hotel with big rooms. The delightful food is well presented with excellent service, making it a definite stay. If only we could stay longer to learn more about the history of this lovely, well-maintained building that was once a magnificent hotel in its heyday.
