However, be aware that there was one elevator broken during our visit. While most guests had positive things to say about the pool area, a few did mention that the deck was falling apart and the hot tub needed some attention. Also, note that some guests were disappointed that the pool didn't open until 10am on Saturdays. Finally, a few guests felt that the pool and surrounding area needed some cleaning. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall consensus was that the pool at World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort is beautiful, enjoyable and a great spot for families to relax and make memories. Also, some people complained about the noise made by patrons in the pool in the middle of the night.
Despite these issues, many guests appreciated the easy access to the beach, which is oceanfront. The bar staff at Santiago's was also awesome and guests enjoyed the tiki bar and the BBQ near the pool. However, some guests were disappointed that the Tiki bar closed early and the pool was closed by dark. Moreover, some amenities were missing, such as a bathroom by the pool, a hot tub and the pool being chlorine.
