Guests of The Winchester Hotel and Spa have mixed reviews when it comes to the pool. While some have nothing but high praise for the pool area, noting that it is lovely, has a decent size and is indoor and heated, others have reported the pool to be too cold for their liking. Some guests even reported the pool being freezing and on multiple occurrences the pool was either closed or out of use. Despite this, guests who were able to enjoy the pool and spa facilities say they were very good, if not excellent and some even went as far as to say the pool was amazing. However, it seems that the temperature of the swimming pool is key with many guests commenting that it was very cold, uncomfortable and left them disappointed. Additionally, some guests noted that there weren't many sun loungers by the pool, leaving limited space to relax. Overall, it seems the pool at The Winchester Hotel and Spa has its pros and cons depending on your preference for water temperature.

The Village Hotel Southampton Eastleigh is a lovely and welcoming hotel that offers great options for guests who want to stay fit while on vacation. Some guests have experienced a lovely pool and whirlpool, while others have noted that the pool is small and dirty. Nevertheless, the pool and sauna, steam room and fantastic gym are available to hotel guests, although access to the pool and spa may come with an extra charge. It's important to check the times that kids are allowed in the pool to avoid any disappointment. Overall, the hotel is an indoor pool and gym shared amongst members, so it can get busy at times. Despite some water issues that may have led to the temporary closure of the pool and changing rooms, guests have still enjoyed their access to the gym which was included with their stay. All in all, the Village Hotel Southampton Eastleigh is a great option for those looking for a hotel with a great gym and pool offerings.
