Additionally, the restaurant did not have kid's plates, but the staff was accommodating. Despite a few hiccups, The Cornwall Hotel is a great place for a family weekend away.

While there are plenty of places to eat in Fowey, some reviews noted it was hard to find something for children to eat at the hotel. However, the well-appointed family cottage in picturesque surroundings and the arrival tray with groceries for the first night was a nice touch. While the hotel is great for mobile people and families, some guests noted that the shower wasn't accessible and there were not enough toiletries for the whole family. Additionally, some parents let their children run wild until late at night which may not be ideal for all families. Nevertheless, overall, it's a fun stay with things to do for children and a great location for a quiet family break. Finally, the staff went out of their way to accommodate some of our needs, making it clear that it's classed as a family hotel.

For families with dogs, the hotel is also ideal as pets are allowed to play outside with other families. The on-site facilities provide everything you need for a great family holiday, including spacious, fully equipped houses with multiple bathrooms, comfort and cleanliness. However, some guests were disappointed that the promised facilities for children were no longer available, making there little to do for kids. If you're a big family of ten or more, this hotel is perfect for you as it is great for large families and provides excellent facilities, including a perfect family comfortable house. Nevertheless, guests also mentioned that the play area for younger children was not very good. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that there is a £70 pet charge for those who bring their dogs.
