While some areas of the beach were rocky and not suitable for swimming, the Palms side had a great sandy beach. Guests staying at the Sea Side Suites didn't have beach access, but drinks were brought to them by the beach. Overall, despite a few minor issues, this resort offers great rooms and a larger beach area that guests loved. Some reviews were not positive about the beach, but for most guests, it was simply an awesome place.

The beach area next door at the Sands Hotel is also accessible and has beach volleyball.
