The pool at Novotel Jeddah Tahlia seems to garner mixed reactions from guests. While some appreciate the convenience of having a swimming pool available, especially for children, many reviews indicate significant issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Reports frequently mention the pool being dirty with several guests noting that it appears seldom cleaned. The pool's cleanliness has been described as needing work with a few guests remarking on a noticeable smell and a dilapidated appearance.
Maintenance closures also seem common with periods when the pool is reserved solely for women or entirely closed for days. There are mentions of inadequate facilities, such as the absence of towels and a lack of dedicated staff for the pool area. The pool's temperature regulation is another concern with some guests finding the water too cold due to an inactive heater.
However, there are some positive mentions, such as a clean pool on a few occasions and a pleasant view overlooking the street from the pool area. Additionally, the provision of a playroom for children adjacent to the pool adds a family-friendly touch. Overall, while the pool has potential, it requires more consistent upkeep and better service to meet guest expectations.

The Iridium 70 Hotel boasts a rooftop pool with a simple and organized seating area, offering a decent spot to unwind outdoors. However, guests have pointed out several areas needing improvement. The pool size is quite small and lacks a children-friendly depth, making it less suitable for families with young kids. Cleanliness has been a recurring issue with some visitors finding it dirty or unclean. Maintenance seems inconsistent, as the pool has even been closed for repairs at times. On a positive note, efficiency is observed in the poolside service and lifeguard assistance is available. Despite these challenges, some guests did find the pool facilities, including the jacuzzi, to be pleasing. The pool’s atmosphere, though outdated and with high chlorine levels, does provide a place to relax when adequately maintained.

The rooftop pool at The Hotel Galleria Jeddah, Curio Collection by Hilton, offers a clean and pleasant environment with stunning views from the 7th floor. Many guests found it enjoyable with children particularly thrilled with their time at the pool. Despite its small size, the pool area is well-maintained and includes both shallow and deep ends, making it suitable for different swimming preferences.
The setup includes a nearby cafe, adding convenience for refreshments, although some guests wished for more privacy from the seating area. Additionally, the pool area would benefit from having umbrella shades for better comfort. Unfortunately, guests did express dissatisfaction regarding the pool's temperature, noting that it was quite cold at certain times of the year and suggested that it should be heated.
Operational hours also posed an inconvenience for some with early closing times at 6 pm, especially during weekends, which didn't align well with guest expectations. The inconsistency in opening and closing times, along with the occasional closure for maintenance, affected the overall experience. Moreover, access was limited since not all elevators reached the pool level and room service was not always available in the pool area.
Despite these issues, the presence of a diligent pool supervisor and the enjoyable atmosphere when the pool was available contributed positively to the overall guest experience.
