Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
RNS Residency Sea View in Murudeshwar enjoys an exceptional location, praised for its breathtaking sea views and proximity to the Murudeshwar Temple and the Shiva statue. This prime spot is perfect for both beach lovers and temple-goers, who can easily stroll to these attractions and enjoy a divine atmosphere. The property's ample parking space and a breakfast spread that includes tasty South Indian and Continental options further enhance guests' experiences.
The breakfast at RNS Residency Sea View generally receives positive feedback with guests appreciating the delicious South Indian items and the overall quality and variety. Though a purely vegetarian spread, it caters well to diverse tastes. Some minor complaints involve limited choices and a lack of fruits, but overall, breakfast is considered a highlight of the stay.
Dinner experiences are largely favorable with the restaurant's food quality and taste being particularly commendable. Despite positive remarks about the food and the beautiful ground floor view, slow service and a lack of South Indian cuisine during dinner detract from the overall dining experience.
Rooms at RNS Residency Sea View are spacious and offer stunning sea views, which guests highly appreciate. However, many reviews note the need for significant updates and better maintenance. Issues such as lack of cleanliness, old furniture and musty smells are frequently mentioned, suggesting a disparity between the room rates and the standard provided.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel is a mixed aspect. While some guests find the hotel and rooms neat and tidy, others point out serious issues with cleanliness, particularly in bathrooms that require better maintenance and refurbishment. This inconsistency suggests a potential area of improvement for the property.
The hotel's staff consistently receive praise for their warmth, courtesy and willingness to help with special mentions for individuals like Akshay, the front office manager. Despite a few reports of rudeness and slow service, particularly at night, the dedication and friendliness of the majority of the staff leave a positive impression.
The beds receive a varied response from guests; while some find them well-maintained, others have concerns about single beds not being joined to form a king-size bed, bed bugs and the cleanliness of the bedsheets. These issues indicate inconsistent hygiene and maintenance standards regarding the beds.
Overall, RNS Residency Sea View excels in location and views with positive remarks on breakfast and helpful staff, yet faces challenges in room maintenance, cleanliness and some service aspects, which could benefit from attention and improvement.
