The pool at the Best Western Plus Lackland Hotel and Suites seems to offer an experience that is quite popular among families, particularly for those with children who reportedly enjoy the indoor swimming environment. Offering both a swimming pool and a hot tub, the hotel provides an added layer of relaxation and fun, which many guests found appealing. The indoor setup ensures that weather conditions are not a deterrent to pool activities.
Cleanliness is a highlight, with frequent mentions of clean towels and a generally well-maintained pool area. However, there have been occasional inconsistencies reported. Some guests mentioned issues such as the pool or hot tub being temporarily out of order, a chilly water temperature despite the pool being heated, and a slippery pool deck. There were also instances where the pool's appearance was not as inviting as expected, with reports of murkiness.
Overall, while the indoor pool and hot tub are popular features, prospective guests may want to verify the current status of these amenities prior to their visit to ensure a fully enjoyable experience.

The Econo Lodge Near Lackland Air Force Base-SeaWorld garners a range of reviews with many guests appreciating its strategic location. Situated conveniently close to SeaWorld and the Lackland Air Force Base, the hotel becomes a prime choice for visitors attending events or visiting family at the base. Its proximity to a variety of restaurants, stores and major access roads adds to the guests' convenience, underscored further by the comfortable beds and pillows that enhance the overall stay.
Guest feedback on the breakfast offerings, however, reveals a common disappointment. While some visitors managed to find the breakfast provided adequate, the selection was largely minimal, typically consisting of cereal, toast and drinks. Importantly, a recurring issue highlighted was the absence of breakfast despite its advertisement, often attributed to COVID-19 restrictions. This miscommunication left many feeling misled.
The rooms received positive remarks for their spaciousness and recent remodeling, as well as the commendable cleanliness maintained by the hotel staff. Visitors enjoyed the tidiness and size of the rooms, which contributed to a pleasant experience. The staff, particularly noted for their friendly and accommodating nature, added to the positive ambiance. Guests frequently complimented the professionalism and attentive service provided by the personnel, making notable mentions of staff members like a young lady named Suchi.
Despite these positive aspects, some negative feedback emerged regarding the rooms. Issues such as inadequate air conditioning, unpleasant smells and cleanliness concerns in the bathrooms were mentioned. Maintenance problems with floors and doors were also cited. Furthermore, the inconsistency in cleanliness, highlighted by reports of roaches and unclean areas, presented a noticeable drawback. While some guests found the rooms very clean and comfortable, others encountered significant hygiene issues, indicating variability in guests' experiences.
Beds at the Econo Lodge largely received positive feedback for comfort, contributing to restful nights for many guests. However, some reviewers pointed out cleanliness issues with the bedding and curtains, including the presence of stains.
In summary, while the Econo Lodge Near Lackland Air Force Base-SeaWorld excels in location convenience, room spaciousness and friendly staff, it faces notable challenges concerning breakfast provision, room maintenance and inconsistent cleanliness.

The pool at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Lackland is a notable feature of the hotel, offering a space for guests to unwind and enjoy the warm sunshine. Reviews highlight that this amenity provides a pleasant setting for relaxation and fun, with some guests appreciating its availability for children. Guests noted that, when maintained, the pool area can be clean and inviting. However, it seems maintenance and upkeep are inconsistent, with some mentions of the pool being out of order, empty, or in need of repairs.
