Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Bernie's Bed & Breakfast, situated just 3 kilometers from Ezeiza Airport, is highly praised for its strategic location, making it a convenient choice for travelers needing quick access to the airport. The tranquil, leafy surroundings provide a serene escape, while the complimentary airport shuttle service simplifies logistics and enhances the overall convenience of staying at Bernie's. The staff receives consistent acclaim for their friendliness, attentiveness, and exceptional service, ensuring guests have a warm and welcoming experience. This dedication is exemplified by noted staff members like Lucas Kent, who go out of their way to assist and accommodate guests.
Breakfast at Bernie's is another highlight, often described as very good or excellent. It includes home-brewed coffee, tea, banana bread, and sweet options, with breakfast service starting as early as 4 am to cater to those with early flights. Although there are suggestions for more fruit options, the breakfast offerings complement the favorable location and helpful service, adding to the convenience of a stay.
Despite these positive aspects, the rooms present a mixed picture. While some guests find the beds comfortable, there are numerous mentions of the need for modernization and maintenance. Issues such as damp conditions, worn-out bedding, outdated fixtures, and inconsistent cleanliness are common concerns, with some guests reporting stained linens, mold, and unkempt outdoor areas. The condition of the beds specifically draws criticism, with reports of hard or saggy mattresses and a musty smell impacting the overall experience.
Overall, Bernie's Bed & Breakfast is an excellent choice for those prioritizing proximity to Ezeiza Airport and friendly service. However, potential guests should be aware of the need for improvements in room cleanliness, maintenance, and bed quality to enhance their overall stay.
