Whilst some say the pool was excellent and lovely, others mention that the outdoor pool was in need of maintenance and very unsafe with holes in the baby pool which could cut your foot. However, the view of the pool and play area was ideal for giving the kids freedom to play. Availability of the pool was also a common issue among guests with complaints about the complicated process and restrictions in place to book the indoor pool, as well as the fact that the pool had to be pre-booked and couldn't be used due to local swim sessions. Additionally, some reviews noted that the pool area needed some TLC or was in need of refurbishment. Despite these complaints, some guests found the heated indoor pool to be great and easy to pre-book, whilst the kids enjoyed the hot tub. Finally, other guests mentioned that the leisure pass was handy for booking time slots to the indoor pool and gym, which were open to the public and felt nicely busy out of season.
