The pool at Hotel Oaxaca Real offers a mix of experiences, but ultimately serves as a pleasant spot for guests looking to unwind. Although its size is modest, many guests still appreciate the refreshing experience it provides, especially during the afternoon. The surrounding area is often described as very nice and beautiful, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Despite being frequently crowded, the pool enjoys commendations for its cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
Families have pointed out that their children particularly loved spending time in the pool, adding to its appeal for guests traveling with kids. Some visitors perceive the pool as a charming added benefit of the hotel, particularly when it's advertised alongside the restaurant and the Mescal tasting room within the indoor courtyard setting.
However, the pool temperature might not meet expectations for all, with several guests noting that it can be quite cold and refreshing, contrary to heated claims. The amount of chlorine and occasional visibility of unclean water are a concern, and these factors may affect the enjoyment for some swimmers. The rooftop pool at Hotel Parador de Alcalá has generated significant praise from guests, who consistently describe it as a delightful and relaxing space. It offers a small, well-maintained escape perched atop the hotel, complete with a poolside bar, ideal for unwinding. Despite its limited size, the pool area is a beloved feature, highlighted by its stunning 360-degree views of the city. Patrons appreciate the serene atmosphere, reveling in the bonus of a rooftop retreat, especially during sunny afternoons. While some guests mention that the pool closes too early and lacks a shower facility, the charming ambiance created by the beautiful views and comfortable lounging area more than compensates for these minor inconveniences. The rooftop setting is often a highlight of their stay, making it a wonderful spot to spend a leisurely afternoon.
