Summary of reviews related to the 'Pool' category
Summarized by AI
The pool at Eko Residence Hotel receives mixed reviews from guests, praising its pleasant terrace setting while often critiquing its size. Descriptions frequently highlight the pool as small with some comparing it to a larger bathtub. Despite this, many find the rooftop pool area beautiful and the hammocks on the terrace provide a relaxing atmosphere. Guests appreciate the clean and well-maintained edges of the pool, though some noted occasional lapses in cleanliness and maintenance, ranging from unclean water to the pool being closed for repairs.
Children seem to enjoy the pool, often wanting to return immediately after breakfast. The rooftop setting with aromatic plants and lounges, is a particular highlight, offering a pleasant space to spend the afternoon. Although the pool can be crowded and is not heated, which may be a downside for some, others find it cool and refreshing.
Overall, while the pool's small size and the occasional maintenance issues are points of contention, the rooftop terrace and associated leisure areas receive positive remarks for their setup and relaxing ambiance. The pool serves as a satisfactory feature for short dips and relaxing afternoons, especially for families with small children.

The Manhattan Apart Hotel in Porto Alegre impresses with its prime location, offering excellent convenience and value for money. Positioned near major landmarks such as Farroupilha Park, Araújo Viana Auditorium, UFRGS and the city center, it provides easy access to bus stops and the airport. The hotel is well-appreciated for its free parking, making it particularly attractive for those with vehicles. Guests commend the clean, spacious and well-ventilated rooms, noting the basic but functional kitchen facilities that enhance the appeal for longer stays.
The rooms themselves are described as clean, comfortable and well-organized with the added charm of balconies and pleasant views. Despite some criticisms about older furnishings and dim lighting, the overall ambience remains positive due to the diligent maintenance and cleanliness. The staff greatly contribute to the positive experience, often praised for their friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency. Although there are occasional mentions of disorganization during the check-in process, the cordiality and attentiveness of staff members like Mr. Carlos stand out.
Common areas and rooms are frequently highlighted for their immaculate condition, though a few guests noted isolated issues like stained sofas and unpleasant odors. The hotel's cleanliness and comfort standards are generally high, fostering an inviting atmosphere.
However, the Wi-Fi service has received mixed reviews. Though some guests find it excellent, many report connectivity issues, weak signals and unreliability that can be problematic for those relying on a stable internet connection.
Parking facilities receive consistently high marks, being secure, ample and conveniently located, which adds to the overall stress-free experience. Furthermore, while the beds garner varied reactions, many guests find them comfortable and conducive to a good sleep, despite some reporting overly soft or worn-out mattresses.
In summary, Manhattan Apart Hotel delivers a practical and cost-effective stay, especially for budget-conscious travelers. Its strategic location, friendly staff and clean, functional accommodations make it a solid choice for both short and extended visits. Although there are areas for improvement, such as Wi-Fi connectivity and some aspects of room maintenance, the overall experience is positive, marked by convenience and value.
