Hotel Landhaus Waldesruh offers a mixed experience when it comes to its pool facilities. Many guests appreciated the cleanliness, describing the indoor pool and adjacent sauna as neat and well-maintained. The pool's warmth was often mentioned positively with some finding it pleasantly warm, especially in the mornings. Despite its small size, the pool was praised for being ideal for relaxation and convenient, particularly in bad weather. Children are welcome and many guests reported having fun in the pool.
However, several reviews pointed out that the pool area is somewhat outdated and could appear more cozy. Some guests found the pool cold, particularly in winter and noted that it could have been warmer. Limited access after 4 PM was a recurring issue, limiting some guests' enjoyment. Overall, while the pool area is welcoming and functional, it might benefit from renovations and adjustments to improve the warmth and accessibility.

The outdoor pool at Fritz Lauterbad is a highlight according to guest reviews. Despite occasionally being too cold or too warm, it offers a stunning backdrop of the forest and valley. The pool area is well-maintained with a good selection of loungers (although some are occupied by day spa guests). The infinity pool is particularly impressive and guests enjoy swimming in it even in the rain or snow. While the pool opens at 8 am, some guests feel it would be better if it opened earlier to avoid overcrowding. Overall, the pool and wellness area are fantastic, making for a beautiful and relaxing stay at Fritz Lauterbad.
