The Hampton Inn & Suites Albany-Downtown stands out for its accommodating pet-friendly policy, welcoming guests traveling with their furry friends. The venue is widely regarded as pet-friendly, which is a significant advantage for those who do not want to leave their pets behind while traveling. However, guests should be aware of an additional $50 charge for dogs, which some have found to be excessive or unexpectedly communicated only at checkout. The hotel offers a limited area for dog walking, which may be restrictive for pets needing more space. Despite the extra fee concerns, the pet-friendly nature of the facility is a notable convenience for many travelers.
